I just received this yesterday and used it for about an hour last night. Oh My God. It is absolutely amazing. It rubbed out a few knots in my back and then I layed it down on my bed and it rubbed my legs and it just about put me to sleep. My boyfriend came in and he stole it from me, so now I’m thinking I will buy another one so we can both have one because I really don’t like sharing this thing.

The exact words from my girlfriend… *WOOOOAAAHHHHHH* (Huge Relaxing Smile!) Needless to say more, she went BONKERS at just how deep this massager works! She really loved the “Brookstone Gronk Shiatsu Massager” (in the Brookstone Store) because of how deep it penetrated. So we went to a Costco a week later to try out the TruMedic InstaShiatsu (because of the high ratings and reviews), but she was NOT at all impressed with that. She thought it felt like a tease. It was too light and not effective. So by Nekteck’s ratings, I decided to give this one a try for her. Let me tell you this, I LOOOOOOOVE what the ratings said and how people described it. I knew it would be great for her, as she really gets her neck kinked up. This Nekteck was 1/4th the price at $39.99 to the “Brookstone Gronk Shiatsu Massager” which is about $160 and about 1/3rd the price of the “TruMedic InstaShiatsu” on here is about $130, but at Costco was $100. Either way, it was WAY less and has a 4.6/5 from over 850 people! So what’s to lose right? Let me tell you… this massager, by FAR is one of the BEST DEEP KNEADING MASSAGERS available. The price of it makes it LEAPS and BOUNDS above the rest! This massager is definitely QUIETER than the rest, doesn’t require charging and you can use it in your car (with the cigarette adapter plug). If you like a DEEP massage, this IS THE ONE for you!

Amazing!!I have migraine headaches and a lot of tension in my shoulders, neck and back. I was afraid this would be too intense but it’s perefect. Not too hard and not to light. I thought it maybe awkward the way you Hold your arms in the slings but it is not. Love this massager!!

I was skeptical about buying a massager online but I guess I wanted to try anything at this point because the tension in my neck was so bad! I am using it right now for the first time and it’s amazing. Just the right pressure and hitting all the spots that I have knots in, it’s very warm, I wouldn’t say ‘hot’ though. I can’t wait to use this every night to relax!!! I am so grateful.

Overall, I like this massager. Here are my observations:(1) This thing is VERY powerful. So far I’ve only been able to use it on the lowest setting. To be honest, I wish there was one even lower.(2) The heat takes several minutes to get warm(3) In my opinion, this massager is really best used on the the neck. While you can use it other places (shoulders, hips, etc.), I think that the design tends to be slightly awkward to use and hold in place if you use it beyond the neck.(4) The arms straps are an awkwardly short length. I am only 5’3″, so I don’t have a very long wingspan, but I find I cannot hold my arms comfortable at my sides or on my lap with my hands or forearms in the straps. It’s therefore hard to totally relax my shoulders in orders to get the most out of the massage. I think the design could be greatly improved if the arm loops were adjustable.

Well it does exactly what it says it will do. It felt heavenly and I was a believer the very first day. HOWEVER, I then reread the phamplet and saw that those with a history of blood clots should not use this device. I called my cardiologist and he advised to stop immediately. If this warning was included at the website I totally missed it, so may I suggest this disclaimer be more visible. The good news is that a girlfriend who has no health issues tried it and she too fell in love with it so I didn’t have to return it.

I am showing both reviews so you understand why I changed from 5 stars to 1 star.<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>2017 Review:Had a pinched nerve in neck from sleeping wrong – lasted for weeks, couldn’t raise head off of chest without incredible pain. Couldn’t use this with any pressure at first and used it to lightly knead the neck – took a week to be able to use pressure like the picture shows (using arms to apply pressure). Did the job and saved me from going to massage therapy – pure heaven.<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>Edit 11/7/2019……..2019 Purchase – what a difference a couple of years makes:1. Much larger massage unit doesn’t cup/fit the neck/spine/sides of neck like the other – like 50% larger and much harder to handle.2. I read the reviews that said the controls are too high and thought really shouldn’t be a problem – yes it is!!! Unlike the 2017 model that had the controls at elbow height, having the controls just below ear is a problem and have to bend the whole arm piece towards you to use the controls.3. The 2017 model massage was mostly vertical and very comfortable, this 2019 model is circular (like a clock) and not very comfortable.4. The 2017 model had lots of very soothing heat, this 2019 model – none – no heat at all — fancy lights but no heat. Even turned heat off on multiple times to have a random test of when the heat came on – after a dozen times, can’t tell the heat setting from the no heat setting. Either broken by design, or broken but in either case – no heat.5. In 2017 paid like $60 plus for this on Amazon, thought that the $30 plus price was a bargain, until I discovered it had been cheapened, changed, and severely degraded in performance.I have had this new 2019 model for 1 day, already have a return drop off at Kohls so thank you Amazon for your return policy on this LEMON of a massager. Hope this helps someone avoid wasting their time and/or money.

Love is not a strong enough word- I never would have thought that a $40 neck massager could be this good but it literally feels like a person massaging you. WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT!?! I use it for my entire body- feet, calves, thighs, lower back, upper back, neck. My husband is actually jealous of this thing (I’ve named him Tyrone). Bottom line, YOU NEED THIS!!!!

I’m at a desk or on a laptop a lot and so my neck and shoulders are often tight. I found this and it seemed like a great value. Turns out, this massager really helps.But after a couple months I had some issues with my massager losing power. I sat it away for a few more months, and then when I turned it back on, the condition was much worse. The strength/power was half of its original shape.Then came Customer support to the rescue. They were wonderful in their response and persistence in fixing my issue. They sent me a new massager and now I’m feeling doubly satisfied because my neck is relaxed and I got great service, more than I even expected!
